PREVENTOMICS partners from the University of Parma (UNIPR) showcased a project’s related poster at the National Congress of the Italian Society of Human Nutrition (SINU) celebrated from 4th – 6th of June in Piacenza, Italy.
Claudia Favari, project partner and Assistant Professor in Human Nutrition at the Department of Food and Drugs at UNIPR, attended the event and presented the poster “Development of a platform for the analysis of biomarkers of food intake and its application within the EU H2020 PREVENTOMICS and EU Prima MED4Youth projects”, which introduces the platform and some of the work done within these two projects.
The PREVENTOMICS project has led to personalised nutrition tools aiming at improving health and lifestyle in a sustainable manner. To prove the effectiveness of digital health tools and precision nutrition solutions, together with functional foods and behavioural change strategies, three interventional studies were carried out in four different countries.
The Italian Society of Human Nutrition (SINU) is a non-profit scientific society that brings together scholars and experts in nutrition in its different chemical, molecular, genetic, biochemical, physiological, psychological, cognitive-behavioral, clinical, technological, educational, economic, political and social aspects.
