The PREVENTOMICS project has been presented during the 5th Osteoarthritis Patients’ World Congress organised by OAFI and celebrated from 14th – 15th of October at the AXA Auditorium of Barcelona. This has been the first year that the Congress has been celebrated in a hybrid format, and all the presentations will be available online.
Josep Maria del Bas, director of Eurecat’s Nutrition and Health Unit and PREVENTOMICS’ technical supervisor, and Alba Gòmez, Head of Communication and Audiovisual at OAFI, participated in the session “PREVENTOMICS: Personalised Nutrition” and presented PREVENTOMICS as a key European project empowering patients and consumers to prevent diet-related diseases through personalised nutrition and omic sciences.
The OAFI Congress was aimed at promoting research and discussing about health, well-being and quality of life of patients with osteoarthritis, and counted with the participation of representatives from relevant institutions such as European institutions, health authorities, universities, research centres and hospitals.
