PREVENTOMICS project has been presented during the online InfoDay “European funding in R+D+I projects”, which has been celebrated the last 16th of December. The event was organised by the Government of the Balearic Islands, in collaboration with the Institute of Business Innovation of the Balearic Islands (IDI), the Centre for the Development of Industrial Technology (CDTI) and the BIT Foundation.

Francisca Serra, project partner and R&D director at Alimentomica, participated in the session “European project success cases of the Balearic Islands” and presented PREVENTOMICS as a key European project developing an innovative tool for personalised nutrition and promoting the importance of a healthy lifestyle.

The event also counted with an introductory session explaining general information about the Horizon Europe programme and the presentation of two other European projects, including the PLOUTOS project, which is promoting a sustainable innovation framework to rebalance agri-food value chains, and a project on autonomous robotic inspection and maintenance of ship hulls and storage devices.

Alimentomica is a private company focusing on the R+D+I of new components, technologies and innovative practices to improve human diet, function and health.
