PREVENTOMICS technical partners have met on June 19-20 in Athens to discuss on platform design and communication interfaces specifications.
The Information Management Unit of the Institute of Communication and Computer Sciences (ICCS), as task leader, hosted the meeting, that served for designing PREVENTOMICS software architecture and brainstorm on the functionalities of the project’s platform and user experience.
During the meeting, PREVENTOMICS use scenarios, representing three levels of the food value chain – marketing, processing and distributing and consuming – have been presented and data sources and components needed to build their interface and integrate it in PREVENTOMICS platform have been discussed.
ICCS is a non-profit private law body associated with the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering of the Technical University of Athens (NTUA). The Information Management Unit of ICCS, which is participating in PREVENTOMICS, is engaged in IT management R&D activities, such as recommendation and behavioural change support systems.
